Space shuttle Atlantis has launched successfully to the ISS.
Weather conditions were great and all systems functioned perfectly.
Interesting bits seen coming adrift during the ascent viewed from the ET rocketcam were minimal. Some small, presumably foam parts separated shortly after SRB separation and drifted away from the orbiter relatively slowly due to the reduced air resistance. During ET separation, a small white object could be seen separating from the orbiter with fair velocity. My guess is that this may be a reaction thruster dust cover.
