Here we have a video very nasty landing in a variant of the BAe 146 at EGLC London City (Docklands) Airport.
It’s a short runway by airliner standards and there’s a big incentive for the pilot to get it down on the numbers but when you’re this out of shape above the piano keys, I’d recommend calling a missed approach and shoving the throttles to the stops.
It really is a grand-slam of a bounce, true testament to the strength of the little 146’s airframe - I could quite see lesser aircraft coming apart with a landing like that or at least losing their maingear.
No information on the flight or date in question but rumour on the internet[s] says they made the first exit!
